What To Bring

  • Walking Boots with good ankle support  (must be sturdy and comfortable)
  • A Day Pack
  • Walking Pole (if you have one)
  • A Sleeping Bag or Duvet
  • A pillow case
  • Large drink bottle (2ltr recommended)
  • Good size lunch box
  • Waterproof rain jacket & pants
  • Warm and cool clothing
  • Torch
  • Sun hat and beanie
  • Sun cream & insect repellent
  • Small hand sanitiser
  • Towels (large & small)
  • Wash bag & personal toiletries
  • Togs
  • Alcohol /refreshments for all nights (in chilly bin/padded bag or wine box for transporting)
  • Plunger coffee (coffee plungers available in all kitchens)
  • Camera
  • Snack food and pre-dinner nibbles (not too many, as we feed you well!

More Information:

A minimum of 2 catered walkers is required to run the walk.  The walk and accommodation is limited to groups of 14.

For groups of only 2 or 3 and our self-catered walkers, you will be transported back to Whareama each night to your accommodation.


For our overseas visitors (or anyone who prefers), we can provide bed linen, (duvet and towels) for hire - $35 extra per person. Please ask when booking.
